Saturday Morning Breakfast!

September 26, 2009

Becoming a tradition (at least it has been since Georgia was born) that I get up with the girls on Saturday and we make breakfast together.

This weekend’s effort was Special French Toast!

Fruit Bread buttered (actually, low fat margarine)and dipped in Egg with a bit of Caster Sugar, mashed banana and berries as filling, then fried and topped with maple syrup and fresh cream for the adults and yoghurt and a dash of honey for the kids, pretty good, but reading it back it does sound a bit excessive!

Been neglectful of the blog

September 23, 2009

Have a bit of time and inclination this evening so thought I’d stick some pics of the girls up on the blog.

Big day today, well, at least it was an odd start to the day, woke to an iridescent orange glow resulting from an unprecedented dust storm, I only took one pic, and that is below, but it did turn out to be a morning of great Kodak Moments! Some pics herePICT1443

The girls pretty much took the dust storm in their stride, although Scarlett thought it would be neat to live on Mars!

I realise that I haven’t included any new pics of Georgia, or as she’s generally known “her”, “Ivy, eh, no the other one” or “baby 3”, so I have corrected that below.

Scarlett and Ivy are coping well with their new sibling, and as sweet as ever. Per below:

first bath time for Georgia

September 6, 2009

Georgia and Mum are both doing pretty well… seems the challenge though with having a “big” girl is that she takes some feeding! Makes sense I guess. Unfortunately though it takes few days for Milk to relace colostrum and until then the poor girl is going a bit hungry!

Big sisters are doing their job, being loud when they should be quiet, poking Georgia in the eye, when, well, they shouldn’t, and occasionally showing glimmers of hope that they will love and protect their new little sister for all their days!

I have started to notice the family resemblance, well, at least it seems that Georgia looks a bit like her sisters did when they were a few days old (actually, Georgia looks like her sisters did when they were a few weeks/ old!)PICT1198

here are pics of Scarlett and Ivy at when they were around 4 weeks old

Georgia Anabelle Tucker is born

September 4, 2009

After a long wait Georgia was born, at 1:07am, 4th September, 2009. Weighing in at 4.36kg she’s a big one, luckily 56cms in length means that she carries it well!

Can’t wait to get to know her and introduce Georgia to her sisters!

Still nothing

August 27, 2009

Almost 5 days overdue and still nothingimage :

Diana went to Yoga today for some “encouragement” and will have acupuncture tomorrow to try to get things moving… And yet, so far, not a single sign of this baby arriving!

Although we’re enjoying having proper sleep while we wait for arrival #3, we’d both like to get this over with and have ourselves a new bub!
